Paper SaintsSaltwater Hymns
Pretty, careful, and a little too polite
Paper Saints have the melodies. What they don't have yet is a reason to raise their voices.
Sample review of a fictional band. A middling score needs as much reasoning as a high one.
Every song on Saltwater Hymns is well made, and that’s the problem. Nothing here risks falling over, so nothing here quite takes off.
